PRO-JECT AUDIO SYSTEMS LAUNCH THE PRO-JECT CD BOX DS3 RED BOOK CD PLAYER
The Pro-ject CD Box DS3 is a ‘Red Book’ CD player and is the first model in the brand’s completely new, European made, Pro-Ject DS3 line.
Pro-Ject says that they picked the best features of their previous CD players and added the Texas Instruments PCM1796 DAC. The new Pro-Ject CD Box DS3 follows the launch of the more budget Pro-Ject CD Box S3 in January.

PRO-JECT CD BOX DS3
The Pro-Ject CD Box DS3 features a solid aluminium chassis to provide the best basis for the CD drive, along with a Blue Tiger CD-80 servo developed by Stream Unlimited.
A combination of three soft points isolate the drive from external vibration and one hard point channels high-frequency vibration, caused by the fast movement of the laser, into the solid chassis.

The drive is specifically optimized for 1:1 playback of Red Book CDDA standard.
