PRO-JECT STEREO BOX S3 BT AND PRO-JECT MAIA DS3 ANNOUNCED

Pro-Ject Audio Systems has announced two new amps, the Stereo Box S3 BT and the MaiA DS3.

The Pro-Ject Stereo Box S3 BT brings Bluetooth connectivity to the Austrian maker’s little stereo integrated and the Pro-Ject MaiA DS3 is an extensively equipped yet compact stereo amp.

PRO-JECT STEREO BOX S3 BT INTEGRATED AMP

The new Pro-ject Stereo Box S3 BT is the brand’s compact, personal stereo integrated amplifier plus a wireless input. Their engineers have managed to squeeze even more power output into the compact chassis and the Bluetooth input allows you to choose the music from your favourite listening chair.

You can hardwire up to two devices to the rear RCA jacks and send your tunes from your phone or tablet with a third AptX Bluetooth input. The 3.5mm variable jack at the rear can be used for a powered subwoofer.

PRO-JECT MAIA DS3 STEREO AMP

The Pro-Ject MaiA DS3 is designed as a versatile integrated amplifier with plenty of power that will cover all over your connectivity needs. The MaiA DS3 has nine inputs. The built-in phono preamp can handle both MM and MC cartridges. For your digital sources, the MaiA DS3 has a coax S/PDIF, two optical S/PDIF and a USB input for the onboard DAC. The Bluetooth AptX HD input is there for you to connect wirelessly. Three additional line inputs are provided for the rest of your gear.

The amplifier section is designed to drive even critical speakers with difficult impedance ratings – with 140W of power per channel into 4ohms. The MaiA DS3 also offers a dedicated subwoofer output. For multiroom applications and music throughout the house – or even outside the MaiA DS3 has one fixed- and, one variable pair of RCA jacks. The built-in headphone amp has a 6.3mm socket.
