REFERENCE AUDIO CHORD, MCINTOSH AND SONUS FABER EVENTS THIS MAY

Reference Audio, a high-end HiFi showroom based in Witham, Essex, UK has announced two special events.

They will host a Chord Electronics Open Day event on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th May 2022 followed by a McIntosh and Sonus faber Open Day event on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th May 2022. Bob, Adam and Mitch at Reference Audio will be hosting these events at our showroom alongside Chord Electronics and the UK Sonus faber and McIntosh distributor, Fine Sounds UK.

CHORD ELECTRONICS OPEN DAY

The open day will showcase the full extent of Chord Electronics current range of products and some you won’t have seen before across Reference Audio’s permanent demo rooms.

The main Reference Room will be featuring Chord’s rarely seen ‘Big-Rig’ system comprising the Ultima Reference Pre and Ultima Reference Monobloc power amps, 780w of pure Chord power on tap to drive some of the showrooms most high-end loudspeakers. The three upstairs Demo Rooms will feature the Chord Ultima Pre 2 and Ultima 3 Monoblocs together with a variety of other Chord Electronics products including their streamers, DACs, upscalers, integrated amps and lifestyle products. Most will be being used for continuous live demos whilst others will be on rotational static display.

And as a first for Reference Audio, Chord Electronics will be showing a brand-new Ultima Product at the open day, more to be revealed nearer the time.

Reference Audio has plenty of off-street parking spaces available, and there will be coffee and refreshments available at these events. You’ll also be able to see and hear many of the other products they have on permanent demonstration.

MCINTOSH AND SONUS FABER OPEN DAY

Fine Sounds in attendance throughout the event at the end of May, to give advice on the McIntosh, Sonus Faber and IsoTek products they distribute in the UK and to answer any questions you may have.

The open days will utilise the full extent of our Reference Audio’s permanent demo rooms with the main Reference Room featuring the McIntosh 901 monoblocs together with appropriately sized speakers from Sonus Faber. The three upstairs demo rooms will be featuring a variety of McIntosh, Sonus Faber and IsoTek products on live demonstration and during the afternoons the Cinema Room will feature a 7.4.4 channel McIntosh system showcasing a full McIntosh AV rig comprising MC255 five channel amp, MI128 eight channel amp and MX100 AV Processor and a 4m wide screen and six-pack subs. There will also be the brand-new Sonus Faber Omnia Wireless Speaker on demo.

Over the two-day event the following products, plus others still being planned for, will be showcased:

McIntosh – MC901 Monoblocs, MC1.25K Monoblocs, MC462 Stereo Power Amp, C2700, C1100, C12000, C53, MA5300, MA252 x 2, MA352 x 2, MA12000, MA9000, MHA200, MC830 and C8 Preamp.

Sonus Faber – Sonetto V, Sonetto VIII, Lumina 1, Olympica Nova III, Olympica Nova I, Amati Tradition, Serafino Tradition, Electa Amator III

IsoTek – Their new V5 Aquarius and V5 Titan plus other products.
