Created in 2021, Revival Audio is a new loudspeaker brand from Alsace, France, with experienced HiFi Industry professionals behind it.

Revival Audio Atalante Loudspeakers are handmade in France, the brand has been created by Daniel Emonts, an engineer in the HiFi industry for more than 30 years, and Jacky Lee, a Swiss-based Taiwanese Strategist Executive, who has worked with Dynaudio, IBM and L’Oréal. The speakers are designed in collaboration with the A+A Cooren Design Studio.

DANIEL EMONTS

Daniel has worked previously on many speaker models and technologies at Dynaudio of Denmark and French brand Focal. Daniel built his first speaker at the age of 14 and has dedicated himself to acoustics for almost four decades. He designs all Revival Audio products and technologies in their lab in France.

The retro-styled speakers have modern French design and walnut wood veneer. They have a Phase-Coherent-Fast-Response crossover topology design, with Van Den Hul cables.

The Revival Audio Atalante 3 is a two-way standmount loudspeaker. It features a 28mm soft-dome tweeter with built-in ARID (Anti Reflection Inner Dome) patented technology, RASC coating and specialized back-chamber design. It also has a proprietary BSC (Basalt Sandwich Construction) 7” woofer.

The Atalante 5 is Revival Audio’s three-way model equipped with the 28mm soft-dome tweeter and a 75mm mid-range driver, both built-in Revival Audio ARID (Anti Reflection Inner Dome) patented technology, plus a proprietary BSC (Basalt Sandwich Construction) 12” woofer.

The Revival Audio Atalante 5 will cost €4,490. It comes with a one-piece real wood inclined stand to lift up the speaker at 8 degrees for the best listening angle. An optional Atalante 5 Stand is sold separately at €399.
