Chord Electronics has expanded its international sales and business development team with the appointment of one of the audio industry’s best-known figures, Robert Wong. Robert has been appointed as Business Development Manager with immediate effect, supporting Chord Electronics’ expanded personnel team during a period of significant growth for the company.

Robert brings a wealth of experience to Chord Electronics following a 22-year career in International Business Development within the audio industry. Robert’s previous roles with Bowers and Wilkins, TAG McLaren Audio, KEF and most recently, Linn, will surely beneficial to Chord Electronics.

Commenting on the appointment, Robert said: “I am honoured to be joining Chord Electronics, a progressive and technology-driven company that is going places; I look forward to being a part of the Chord family. I’ve travelled the world and have built up formidable partnerships with many cultures in my 22 years of International Business Development. Having established a strong portfolio of customers across the Middle East and APAC, I am looking forward to maximising Chord Electronics’ business around the world.”

On his appointment to Chord Electronics, International Sales Manager Colin Pratt added: “I’m delighted Chord Electronics has taken the opportunity to employ Robert, who is widely liked and well respected in the industry.
