Rotel A11 wins EISA ‘Best Buy Amplifier of the Year’ award.
The EISA Awards are judged by a team of 55 magazines representing 29 countries across the globe.
EISA will officially present the 2019-20 winners with their awards during the Berlin IFA Show –the world’s largest consumer electronics fair, 6th – 10th September 2019.
Peter Kao, Managing Director of Rotel said:
“Our Balanced Design Concept and the in-house manufacturing of bespoke audio products has continually paid dividends across all models and product ranges and in particular it allows products like the A11 to offer performance far beyond its modest price point. I’m delighted that the expert judges at the prestigious EISA Awards agree.”
The A11 utilises a custom-designed oversized toroidal transformer using steel and copper raw materials sourced only from trusted suppliers. This powers classic Rotel Class AB amplification rated at 50 Watts per channel (20Hz to 20kHz into 8 ohms, both channels).
The A11 includes an integrated Bluetooth receiver supporting both aptX and AAC for high-quality, wireless audio streaming. In addition, the A11 includes a Moving Magnet Phono Stage input for vinyl lovers and 4 RCA analogue source inputs.
Commenting on the A11’s winning performance, the EISA judges said:
“In a history stretching back almost 60 years, affordable amplifiers without frills but packing lots of performance have been central to the Rotel story. The A11 is the latest in this illustrious line – and it’s an absolute bargain. Built around the classic Rotel Class AB amplifier design, it’s rated at 50W per channel, and has a sensible array of inputs for the modern user. It will accommodate four line sources, moving-magnet phono for a turntable, and aptX Bluetooth for wireless streaming from portable devices. Add in the sound quality made possible by careful design and the use of custom Rotel components, and you have an extremely attractive music-first integrated amplifier.”
