Debuting at ISE, the new A11 Stereo Integrated Amplifier and the CD11 CD Player are the latest additions to the Rotel 14 Series.
The CD11’s internal architecture was designed using nearly 30 years of company experience, following the launch of the first Rotel CD player in 1989. A Texas Instruments 24-bit 192kHz DAC is used for the Digital to Analogue conversion. Audio output is available via an RCA analogue connection and a Coaxial digital connection is included for flexibility.
The A11 amplifier includes an integrated Bluetooth receiver offering support for both aptX and AAC for CD quality, wireless audio streaming. In addition, the A11 includes a Moving Magnet Phono Stage input and four RCA analogue source inputs. The A11 uses a custom designed, and in-house factory built, oversized toroidal transformer delivering 50 Watts per channel of Class AB output power (20Hz – 20kHz, 8 Ohms, both channels) to dual relay-controlled A-B speaker 5-way output binding posts.
“Rotel has long been a recognized leader in the affordable, high performance audio space.” says Peter Kao, Managing Director of Rotel. “These 2 new models continue our mission of offering performance well beyond the modest price point by leveraging our Balanced Design Concept throughout the entire engineering, testing and manufacturing processes, all contained in our own dedicated 10,000 square meter (100,000 square foot) factory.”
The A11 and CD11 include 12V trigger connections and a bidirectional RS232 control interface for integration with a wide range of control systems, plus a detachable IEC power cord, front panel graphic display and IR remote controls. The A11 and CD11 are available in both Silver and Black finish.
