At High End 2017, held at Munich’s MOC from May 18-21, Sennheiser will showcase selected models from its audiophile portfolio. They will have the new HDV 820 headphone amplifier on dem’. It has been created to companion to Sennheiser’s audiophile headphones, such as the HD 800 S, which is also on show at HIGH END. As a special highlight, at the Sennheiser booth visitors will be able to experience the Sennheiser HE 1.

Sennheiser’s new HDV 820 headphone amplifier builds on the technical accomplishments of its predecessor, the HDVD 800. Developed and produced in Germany, this new addition to their portfolio allows for “unadulterated listening enjoyment, thanks to its improved fully balanced signal processing and extremely low harmonic distortion”. Its all-new digital section is equipped with a high-quality ESS SABRE32 digital-to-analogue converter.

“We have specifically revised the HDVD 800 to provide an even more natural sound experience to audio enthusiasts,” explains Manuel Ricke, Product Manager Audiophile at Sennheiser. “The result is a pure and emotional sound experience that makes the listener feel like they are right in front of the musician. As ideal partner to complement the HDV 820, Sennheiser will also be showcasing the HD 800 S at HIGH END. While the unique transducer technology and innovative earcupdesign of the classic HD 800 have been applied to the HD 800 S, the sound has been further optimized in the middle and low frequency ranges.
