SOtM (Sound Of the Music), whose sMS 200 streamer we recently reviewed, have introduced a new Music Server/Player and ultra clock module.
The sMS-1000SQ Eunhasu is a music server as well as player which is provided with a 64GB SSD as standard, giving fast OS processing and less noise. In order to meet the demand of users, the sMS-1000SQ Eunhasu has the option of embedded large capacity SSD and HDD as additional storage devices.
The connection of an external USB HDD is automatically recognised. Using the network connection, music files available on a NAS or internal storage devices can be shared using the NFS and SMB functions. The Multi-player System can be configured by using those devices supporting, and compatible with, multiple numbers of sMS-1000SQ, Roon and LMS (Logitech Media Server). Plus, the sMS-1000SQ Eunhasu allows use of high resolution streaming service such as Qobuz, TIDAL etc. in addition to the internet radio. The sMS-1000SQ Eunhasu can be upgraded by adding a separate high performance clock board to the USB audio port or digital/analogue outputs.
The sCLK-EX Ultra Clock Module can be used for all digital devices that require clock signals such as DAC, USB host card, CD player, PC main board and LAN controller. The sCLK-EX can simultaneously use four clock outputs so that one single sCLK-EX board can be used for various frequencies including the system clock, LAN port clock and USB clock in your PC. Furthermore, the device can be used synchronously with a high precision clock such as a rubidium clock, by using the Master clock option.
The price of sMS-1000SQ Eunhasu starts from US$3000 and is available with various features and options allowing the customer to configure it as desired. The sCLK-EX Ultra Clock Module starts at US$700.
