STACK AUDIO SMOOTHLAN NETWORK FILTER
British HiFi brand Stack Audio has announced the next product in their expanding range of audio accessories designed to eliminate vibrations that affect HiFi.
Stack Audio tells us that the new Stack Audio SmoothLAN network filter has one purpose: “to remove crosstalk and interference from a network cable eliminating a potential source for parasitic noise entering sensitive HiFi via a music streamer”.
STACK AUDIO SMOOTHLAN NETWORK FILTER
The SmoothLAN features a precision machined aluminium case incorporating six fully shielded pockets, acting as barriers to isolate electronic components from each other and external disturbances.
EMI ABSORPTION
It has EMI absorbing materials embedded inside the pockets, further neutralizing noise reflections from components, Stack tells us.
The perfectly sealed enclosure with twenty screws guarantees the absence of gaps between the shielded pockets, which they tell us prevents any compromise in performance by amplifying specific frequency ranges.
MINIMIZING CROSSTALK
The SmmothLAN has discrete components facilitating high-speed traces (the signal paths on the circuit board), with ground planes and shields between them, along with optimized grounding to minimize crosstalk. Each circuit on the PCB is surrounded by copper grounded to the case. Stack says this creates an effective shield against interference and ensures return currents do not interfere with neighbouring circuits. The Stack Audio SmoothLAN network filter has a CAT7 Connecting cable made from oxygen free copper with gold plated connector.
STACK AUDIO SMOOTHLAN NETWORK FILTER PRICE
The Stack Audio SmoothLAN network filter comes in a choice of Black or Silver, RRP £200 EX-VAT.
