STACK AUDIO SMOOTHLAN REGENERATOR LAUNCHED

Stack Audio has unveiled the SmoothLAN Regenerator, a digital network device designed to improve the quality of network signals for music streaming.
The Stack Audio SmoothLAN Regenerator follows the company’s earlier SmoothLAN Network Filter and continues the focus on reducing noise and interference in digital audio setups.
STACK AUDIO SMOOTHLAN REGENERATOR
Designed and manufactured in the U.K., the Stack Audio SmoothLAN Regenerator works by filtering, regenerating, and re-clocking network signals. It operates at 100Mbps, sufficient for high-resolution music streaming, and uses dual passive filtering alongside triple active re-clocking to minimize noise.

NOISE REDUCTION
Unlike multiport network switches, the Regenerator is intended for use with a single network player, with just one input and one output to help reduce interference. The unit is housed in a machined aluminium case, which provides RF shielding, and features compartmentalised internal design to limit cross-talk. Gold-plated grounding paths and a low-noise power supply further contribute to noise reduction.
The Regenerator includes a high-precision internal master clock housed in an isolated cavity, designed to minimize phase noise and jitter. It is supplied with an oxygen-free copper (OFC) CAT7 cable for network connection.
STACK AUDIO SMOOTHLAN REGENERATOR PRICE
The SmoothLAN Regenerator is priced at £750 (inc. VAT UK) / £625 (exc. VAT).
HiFi PiG Says: The Stack Audio SmoothLAN Regenerator is the latest new product from the innovative British HiFi brand.
