Stratton Acoustics has expanded its Element Series with two new models – the Stratton Acoustics Element 6 and Element 8, they were unveiled at AXPONA 2025.

These compact British-made loudspeakers bring the brand’s design-led approach and high-end engineering to a more accessible scale, while maintaining the sonic precision and craftsmanship Stratton is becoming known for.

STRATTON ACOUSTICS ELEMENT 6

The Stratton Acoustics Element 6 is designed for smaller spaces or nearfield listening, offering refined performance in a visually striking compact package. It features a 6in carbon-fibre bass/midrange driver alongside the brand’s proprietary 29mm soft dome tweeter, decoupled and mounted in a waveguide for wide dispersion and precise imaging.

The enclosure is made from an acrylic-silica reinforced polymer matrix, chosen for its inert properties, with aluminium front and rear baffles machined from aerospace-grade material.

STRATTON ACOUSTICS ELEMENT 8

Stepping up in scale, the Stratton Acoustics Element 8 shares the same tweeter and enclosure design as the Element 6 but uses a larger 8in carbon-fibre driver for a more substantial low-frequency response. It retains the same attention to clarity and musical balance while offering greater dynamic range and authority in the bass.

A key design element is the reflex-loaded cabinet with flared porting and dual resistive vents, developed to control pipe resonance and eliminate port noise. This allows the Element 8 to maintain fast, tuneful bass with minimal colouration – an important trait for larger room environments.

PRECISION-BUILT STANDS TO MATCH

Stratton has also introduced dedicated Element Stands, designed to pair with both the Element 6 and 8 loudspeakers. Machined from aerospace-grade aluminium, the stands are engineered to reduce floor-borne vibration while echoing the sculptural design of the speakers themselves.

These stands contribute to the system’s overall acoustic performance by ensuring greater stability and vibration control, helping to preserve fine detail and enhance stereo imaging.

BUILT IN BRITAIN, DESIGNED TO LAST

Like all Stratton Acoustics products, the Element 6 and Element 8 are handcrafted in the UK by a team of artisan builders. The brand’s philosophy combines aesthetics with function, aiming to deliver a product that appeals as much to the eye as it does to the ear.

Each cabinet is finished in a piano white lacquer with silver baffles, with additional finishes planned. Every detail, from driver selection to cabinet materials, reflects a design process that values sonic integrity and long-term durability.

STRATTON ACOUSTICS ELEMENT 6 AND ELEMENT 8 PRICING AND AVAILABILITY

The Stratton Acoustics Element 6 is priced at £15,000 per pair, while the Element 8 is £20,000 per pair. The Element Stands are available separately at £3,500. Distribution is handled directly by Stratton Acoustics, with international availability via Rutherford Audio in the USA and Vigor Audio in Hong Kong.
