STUDIO CONNECTIONS UPGRADE FOR SUBWOOFERS

Studio Connections has launched two upgraded versions of subwoofer cables, the Sublink LFE and Sublink High Level.

There are two new models: Sublink LFE and Sublink High Level, both of which have been designed to provide an upgrade over supplied cables for well known subwoofer brands such as REL, SVS, MJ Acoustics and others.

STUDIO CONNECTIONS SUBLINK LFE

The new Sublink LFE is for a RCA>RCA (phono>phono) connection from a LFE (Low Frequency Extension) dedicated Subwoofer output channel.

STUDIO CONNECTIONS SUBLINK HIGH LEVEL

The new Sublink High Level features a high-level Speakon type connection plug for the subwoofer and a choice of high quality banana or spade plugs at the amplifier end.

SHCA CONDUCTOR ARRAY

The new models build on Studio Connection’s proprietary SHCA Conductor array, which utilises a mixture of high purity copper strands alongside a formulated configuration of high purity solid  silver strands.

The Sublink range has a twisted conductor construction made from Studio Connections SHCA – Solonex Hybrid Conductor Array strands.  Its dielectric is a custom foamed material which emulates as closely as possible to free-air. The outer jacket choice is a black braid for more discrete installs and for a non-reflective surface in darkened home-theatre style builds.

SUBLINK PLUGS

Sublink LFE plugs are locking and have a very thick silver plating. Sublink High Level plugs are pure copper and gold plated.

Studio Connections used REL S510, T9X, SVS SB3000 and MJ Acoustics Seismic Subwoofers for testing and evaluation.
