SWAN SONG AUDIO OMNIDIRECTIONAL SPEAKER V2 LAUNCHES
Swan Song Audio has announced the release of the second generation of its distinctive omnidirectional loudspeaker, the Swan Song Audio Omnidirectional Speaker V2.
The design continues the brand’s exploration of wide-dispersion sound, offering listeners a full, room-filling experience described as “a clear wide wall of sound.”
SWAN SONG AUDIO OMNIDIRECTIONAL SPEAKER V2
The Swan Song Audio Omnidirectional Speaker V2 uses a hybrid construction approach to improve damping and reduce tonal colouration. The cabinet is 3D printed from PLA, a biodegradable polymer, and damped using flexible TPU. Additional rigidity is provided by ABS bracing, which is also used on the cabinet’s top and bottom panels.

HIGH SENSITIVITY FOR LOW POWER AMPLIFICATION
With a rated sensitivity of 94dB, the Swan Song Audio Omnidirectional Speaker V2 is designed to work well even with low-powered valve amplifiers. The design allows for efficient energy transfer, ensuring that even small amplifiers can produce satisfying output levels in the right environment.
QUALITY COMPONENTS IN THE SIGNAL PATH
Internally, the Swan Song Audio Omnidirectional Speaker V2 features premium parts, including Argentium silver wiring and solid copper connectors. The crossover network includes Mundorf coils and silver-and-oil capacitors, selected for their transparency and low grain. Both inductive and capacitive elements have been compensated for within the design. The drivers used are from Faital Pro: a 12-inch woofer and a 2-inch compression horn.
DESIGNED FOR REAL ROOMS
In-room measurements put the -3dB point of the Swan Song Audio Omnidirectional Speaker V2 at 35Hz (measured at nine feet without corner reinforcement), suggesting strong low-end presence without the need for a subwoofer in most listening rooms. Each speaker weighs approximately 62 pounds (around 28kg).

HAND-BUILT, CUSTOM-FINISHED, AND LIMITED IN NUMBER
Each pair of Swan Song Audio Omnidirectional Speaker V2s takes 1150 hours to 3D print using two printers, equivalent to 42 days of continuous operation. The company plans to expand its print capacity in the coming months but expects production numbers to remain limited. Buyers can customise colour and design to suit their preferences, adding a bespoke element to the ownership experience.
