Roon expands the Roon Ready end points to include the T+A Multi-Source devices MP 1000 E, R 1000 E, MP 2000 R MKII, CALA CDR, and CALA SR. Roon Ready certification is the highest level of certification and integration into the Roon ecosystem.

All models except the digital-only CALA SR house a CD mechanism, a digital tuner offering FM, FM-HD and DAB+ reproduction, a Bluetooth streaming module, a streaming client with internet radio and music services for connection to the home network via LAN and WLAN. In addition, the MP 2000 R MKII includes D/A converters that handle PCM up to 384 kSps and native DSD up to DSD 512 with T+A’s proprietary True 1-Bit Converter.

There are no hardware changes necessary and existing owners can simply upgrade to Roon Ready functionality via a firmware update. “After we accomplished the Roon Ready certification for our MP 8 in August this year, we are pleased that five of our most successful streaming devices have reached the same status now. Further T+A streaming devices are currently undergoing the certification process and will follow in due time.” – Siegfried Amft, Owner and Managing Director of T+A elektroakustik GmbH & Co. KG.
