We have been bringing you news about cassette tape being the next big comeback in Audio and Hifi for the last few years. Recording The Masters are making cassette tapes again, but their Kickstarter funded campaign to launch their Mystik portable cassette player, failed to hit it’s 50,000€ target.
Adding more fuel to the whisperings that cassette tape is the next old school format to be revived, Recording The Masters, the French tape manufacturer, is just about to launch MYSTIK, which they say is “a modern-day analogue cassette player with a focus on quality audio playback”.
Recording The Masters introduced brand new FOX C60 audio cassettes earlier in 2018. In 2019 they are expanding their accessory line and introducing coloured flanges and NAB adapters. More »
