TALK Electronics, the UK based Hifi designer and manufacturer, has announced the introduction of two new TALK tonearms, the A500 and A600.

Made In Britain

Designed and ‘Made in Britain’ at the TALK Electronics factory, the new tonearms have Rega compatible mounting geometry with Jelco and SME 9”, 10” and 12” compatible mounting geometry available by special order.

They both have a detachable output cable on a standard 5 pin plug for the user’s choice of cable, fully adjustable VTA via a collar arrangement, separate grounding wires, and a unique captive uni-pivot design which offers uni-pivot performance with the convenience of a ball race feel.

TALK A500

The A500 tonearm is an advanced captive uni-pivot design with a 12mm aluminium slightly tapered arm tube, acrylic headshell and hardened stainless steel pivot point. Internally it is wired with jointless 0.15mm copper single core varnished copper wire. The output is via a 5 pin 270-degree connector which provides for the user’s choice of cable. TALK can offer a high-performance option with straight or right-angle sockets.

The A500 tonearm has a standard Rega compatible mounting.

TALK A600

The A600 tonearm is an advanced captive uni-pivot design with a very lightweight, rigid 12mm pultruded carbon fibre, acrylic headshell and hardened stainless steel pivot point. Internally it is wired with jointless copper litz internal wiring. The output is via a 5 pin 270-degree connector which provides for the user’s choice of cable. TALK can offer a high-performance option with straight or right-angle sockets.

The A600 tonearm has a standard Rega compatible mounting.

Both tonearms are available in 9”, 10” and 12” versions with SME Audio or Jelco compatible mounts by special order.
