TEAC has announced the AX-505 stereo integrated amplifier that delivers 115W + 115W of output power but occupies just an A4-size footprint.
For its power amplifier stage the new integrated amp employs a new cool-running and highly energy-efficient option, a TEAC-tuned Ncore module by Hypex from the Netherlands. n addition, the AX-505 also provides headphone listening via an integrated headphone amplifier, one that supports ‘ground separate’ connection.
There’s a pair of eye-catching level meters on the front panel too, though TEAC do admit they are there only as eye candy. TTEAC say the amp is silent in operation as there is no need for fans.
