SEPTEMBER 2024 MARKS THE TELLURIUM Q 15TH ANNIVERSARY
This September is Tellurium Q’s 15th year anniversary, here are some of the milestones they have celebrated along the way.
We love to see HiFi brands growing and becoming household names. This month marks the Tellurium Q 15th Anniversary, and 15 years has seen them go from the new kids on the block to one of the most recognised British cable brands, all around the world.
Happy Birthday Tellurium Q!
2009 – Tellurium Q incorporated, and gained their first distributor, Kog Audio at the end of the year.
2010 – Into the UK market with the Black II speaker cable and their first product of the year award.
2011 – Finally the interconnects start getting reviewed but only one version – Black: XLR, RCA & DIN.
2012 – First product of the year award for Tellurium Q power cables – Blue power.
2013 – Silver and Ultra Blue speaker cables are launched.
2014 – Higher end cables start to gain product of the year awards starting with Black Diamond speaker cable. This year TQ say they put aside other projects to focus solely on their strength, audiophile cable r&d which unleashed the true potential of Tellurium Q.
2015 – First product of the year for TQ digital cables (Blue USB). Ultra Silver cables introduced, Silver Diamond gains its first product of the year.
2016 – Silver Diamond receives international acclaim winning multiple product of the year awards. Black II is launched.
2017 – Statement speaker cable, power and interconnects are introduced. Tellurium Q said this was “our statement of what was currently possible”.
2018 – 1st Queen’s Award (a relatively rare achievement for any company in the UK). Ultra black II is launched.
2019 – Silver and Silver Diamond power cables introduced.
2020 – Blue II cables launched (both speaker and interconnects, analogue and digital).
2021 – 2nd Queen’s Award. The only audio company to have ever gained the Queen’s award for outstanding export twice, consecutively.
2022 – Black II power launched.
2023 – Statement II launched, gaining multiple product of the year awards.
2024 – Tellurium Q Ultra Silver II, the brand’s 15th-anniversary cable is released.
