THE BRISTOL HIFI SHOW 2022 HAS BEEN CANCELLED

We have just received the following email from the organisers of the Bristol HiFi Show.

“With a heavy heart we feel we have no alternative but to cancel the Show for a second year running”.

The Bristol HiFi Show was due to be held on the 25th – 27th February 2022 at the Marriott City Centre Hotel Bristol.

The Audio T directors, the organisers of the show continued: “While in the summer we hoped that the worst of Covid was behind us, with the arrival of the Omicron variant and the resulting measures that the Government is taking, it is clear that the Show cannot run without putting our visitors, our exhibitors and our own staff at unacceptable risk. Even if some exhibitors were prepared to go ahead we suspect that turnout in the current circumstances would also be too low to warrant the huge amount of work and expense that the Show incurs for all of us.

As we said when you booked, we will be returning all your deposits and we haven’t invoiced any of the balances. It remains to thank you very much for supporting the Bristol Show and let’s hope that we will be able to hold it once again in 2023!”

MARRIOTT HOTEL

Tony Revelle has spoken to the Marriott hotel and for those of you who have booked accommodation rooms via their dedicated Show booking link rest assured that these will be cancelled automatically by the hotel. So please don’t phone the hotel as the show organisers say there is nothing you need to do on this score.
