The Sound Organisation, the US importer and distributor for many high-end audio equipment manufacturers from the United Kingdom, has announced the hiring of three new regional sales managers operating in Canada.
Joining The Sound Organisation’s Canadian division are three well-known Hifi industry veterans formerly from Plurison. All three have decades of experience with audio manufacturers from the United Kingdom including Rega Research, Chord Electronics, dCS, SME, and Proac Loudspeakers.
British Hifi Brands
Arthur Cuth will be serving Ontario and Manitoba, John Tan will be serving British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan and Jonathan St. Denis will be serving Quebec and Eastern provinces, as well as Ottawa. Joining them in the role of sales coordinator is John Bevier, another former Plurison employee, who will work closely with the U.S. and Canadian Teams.
“Expanding our team with locals who know the product and market was important to us and in line with our values as an international cooperation,” stated President of The Sound Organisation Stephen Daniels, himself a UK-native. “We have team members from Scotland, Colorado, Vermont, and elsewhere, so it’s only right that we grow our team with the finest audio professionals across Canada!”
Initial retailer orders will be handled through The Sound Organisation’s Texas-based warehouse. Once manufacturing is fully restored from the disruption of the world-wide pandemic, Canadian orders will be fulfilled from a Montreal-based centre. Future plans include a second Sound Organisation facility with warehouse space, order fulfilment, equipment repairs, retailer training and listening rooms.
Chord Electronics
At this time, The Sound Organisation will handle distribution of Chord Electronics in the Canadian market. The Sound Organisation staff will be reaching out and onboarding current Chord Electronics retailers across Canada.
