GET READY FOR THE FIRST UK HIFI SHOW LIVE SINCE 2019 AT THE ASCOT RACECOURSE GRANDSTAND

For a taste of some of the best High End HiFi around, the UK HiFi Show Live 2023 at Ascot is a must-visit show in the HiFi Diary. It has been four long years since the show wowed the public at Ascot, but it is very much back for 2023.

HiFi PiG’s Eric van Spelde with be flying in to check out what is on offer and snoofling out the very best for you, our readers.

THE UK HIFI SHOW LIVE 2023

Visitors to the show can enjoy some very High End HiFi, along with workshops run by Matthias Böde of Germany’s Stereo magazine. There will also be a host of brand ambassadors, CEOs, and audiophile engineers to answer your questions, in person.

Well-known audio industry personalities at the show this year include PS Audio’s Paul McGowan, Thorens’ Gunter Kürten, Peter Mackay from Magico, Lars Johansen from Perlisten Audio, Bill McKiegan from D’Agostino, Bruno Putzeys from Kii Audio, Shunyata Research’s Grant Samuelson, and t Heinz Lichtenegger of Musical Fidelity and Pro-Ject Audio Systems…plus more to be announced!

UK HIFI SHOW LIVE 2023 TICKETS

Advance tickets are now on sale for The UK HiFi Show Live 2023, hosted at the Ascot Racecourse Grandstand, High Street, Ascot on Saturday 30th Sept, and Sunday 1st Oct 2023. On Friday 29th there is a dedicated Press Day too.

Here are some previews of what you can expect from the exhibitors at the show….stay tuned for more over the following days….

ABSOLUTE SOUNDS

Absolute Sounds are known for their High End HiFi brands including Wilson Audio, Audio Research, Magico and more.

The Sasha V from Wilson Audio will bet at the show with Absolute Sounds, in Ascot’s huge On5 suite.

Döhmann will show the flagship Helix One Mk3 turntable, as seen at Audio Show Deluxe earlier this year. The Australian HiFi brand are part of Absolute Sounds’ boutique Ten Collection of brands, as is Trafomatic, and the Rhapsody tube amp from them which will also make an appearance.

The Krell 400W-rated KSA-400i. flagship amplifier will be at Ascot, driving some yet-to-be-announced high-end speakers.

And, you will also find Twisted Sister guitarist, Jay Jay French rocking out with the Ab Sounds team!

MBL

MBL’s new C41 network audio player will be playing with their Radialstrahler 126 standmount speakers.

INNUOS

Innuos can be found in Suite 617-618 and in the Panoramic Headphone Zone.

On the 6th floor of the Ascot Grandstand Innuos will showcase the PULSAR network music player and STATEMENT with Next-Gen PSU alongside the PhoenixNET audiophile network switch.
This will be the first time these products can be heard together at the UK HiFi Show Live.
A/B Demonstrations will be available with and without PhoenixNET, providing a great opportunity to hear the difference PhoenixNET can make when streaming HiFi music.
The demonstration system in Suite 617-618 will have the Innuos PhoenixNET passing music streaming from Qobuz or TIDAL to the Innuos STATEMENT with Next-Gen PSU and PULSAR players.
A Chord Electronics DAVE DAC will pass the converted signal to a Dan D’Agostino Progression integrated amplifier driving a pair of Wilson Audio Sabrina X speakers. Power conditioning is provided by Isotek’s V5 Sigma and V5 Titan. Cables will be from Transparent Audio and an Artesania Audio Exoteryc rack will house the components.
Visitors to the Innuos demo room will be treated to a rare, exclusive preview of the forthcoming innuOS Operating System 2.5 and Sense app, with a host of new features.


In the Panoramic Headphone Zone, Innuos will be highlighting their Sense app for managing, organizing and streaming music. Visitors can listen to a ZENmini and PULSEmini, each will be going into its own Earmen Audio ST amp and pair of Meze Audio 109 headphones.


Partner rooms around the show will also feature Innuos products and can be found at Stratton Acoustics (Suite 353-354), Absolute Sounds (On 5), SCV Distribution (Suite 649 and 642), KEF (Suite 306), Bowers & Wilkins (628-630), Renaissance (Suite 501-506), and The Chord Company (Suite 613-614).
Nuno Vitorino, Innuos R&D Director, Stephen Healy, UK Sales Manager and Steven Gomes, Head of Sales, will be on hand to demonstrate and answer your questions.

The first loudspeaker from Stratton Acoustics, the Elypsis1512 combines a 29mm tweeter, set into a waveguide, with a 300mm mid and two 380mm reflex-loaded bass units into a 120kg loudspeaker.
