WATTSON AUDIO MADISON AMPLIFIER LAUNCHES IN COLLABORATION WITH CH PRECISION

Swiss brand Wattson Audio has introduced its latest component, the Wattson Audio Madison Amplifier, a stereo power amplifier developed in partnership with CH Precision.

The new amplifier follows the merger news, last year, of the two Swiss manufacturers known for their engineering-led approach and minimalist design philosophy. The Madison Amplifier is designed and built entirely in Switzerland and is intended as a natural companion to the Wattson Madison Streamer.

CLASS A/B TOPOLOGY IN A DUAL-MONO CONFIGURATION 

The Wattson Audio Madison Amplifier provides 50 watts per channel into 8 ohms and employs a Class A/B topology. Its dual-mono architecture is intended to maximise channel separation and signal integrity, with a layout that mirrors each channel for consistent operation.

WATTSON AUDIO MADISON AMPLIFIER OFFERS SYSTEM FLEXIBILITY 

The amplifier is adaptable to a range of system configurations. In addition to standard stereo use, it can be set up in bi-amplification mode—routing the input signal to both output channels—or in monophonic mode, where it operates as a high-current single-channel unit. This allows users to integrate it with different speaker setups and adjust as systems evolve.

MACHINED ALUMINIUM ENCLOSURE WITH MATCHING STREAMER AESTHETIC

Encased in a minimalist aluminium chassis, the Madison Amplifier shares the same footprint and styling as the Madison Streamer. The compact enclosure is milled from solid aluminium and finished to match Wattson’s understated industrial design language.

WATTSON AUDIO MADISON AMPLIFIER BUILT FOR SYSTEM INTEGRATION

Internally, the amplifier uses symmetrical circuitry and discrete components throughout. RCA and XLR inputs are included, and each channel features a matched pair of bipolar transistors. A robust power supply with symmetrical DC converters supports stable operation under varying speaker loads.
