XMOOVE TRAIL PORTABLE SOLAR PANELS

French electronic accessories brand Xmoove has created the new Xmoove TRAIL range of panels with ETFE photovoltaic cell technology.

ETFE LAMINATION TECHNOLOGY

ETFE lamination technology offers, say Xmoove, “several considerable advantages over conventional solar panels”.

They are made of polymer which allows them to withstand much higher thermal stresses compared to a conventional solar panel. In addition, the UV permeability of ETFE delivers better performance by avoiding excessive light reflection. The operating temperature range of the three panels is -10°C to 60°C and they are also resistant to splashing with water.

ETFE solar panels are more environmentally friendly because their production does not requires any chemical solvents or petroleum products.

COMPACT SIZE

Weight and size are important parameters taken into account by those wanting to charge on the go. The Xmoove TRAIL panels have therefore been designed in such a way that the product is very light and thin with a thickness of less than 2mm. The fold out design keeps packing space to a minimum.

THREE VERSIONS

The new range of TRAIL solar panels comes in 3 versions (6W / 14W / 21W), each responding to specific needs. Thus, each ‘adventurer’ will be able to find the best compromise between size and power.

XMOOVE TRAIL 6W

The Trail 6W is the most compact panel in the range, it offers an optimal size/performance ratio. Its 4 fold-out flaps allow it to be stored in a small space because its dimensions are 14 x 9.5 cm when folded.

XMOOVE TRAIL 14W AND 21W

The Trail 14W and 21W panels are the flagshipsof this range, they are equipped with two USB ports, they ensure the charging of two devices simultaneously and their large exposure surface offers optimal performance.

On the 14W and 21W versions, a module lets you see the real-time display of the electric current delivered by the panel. This module is very practical to find the best orientation of the panel and obtaining the best possible performance.

QUICK CHARGE

Each of the solar panels is equipped with a USB port (2 for the 14W and 21W versions) with a power maximum of 2.1A, which is equivalent to fast charging for the majority of smartphones. You can then store the accumulated energy in an external battery or directly charge your devices.
