YAMAHA LAUNCHES ITS 5-DISC CD CHANGER: THE CD-C603

Yamaha has announced the launch of the new Yamaha CD-C603 5-disc CD Changer.

PLAYXCHANGE

The CD-C603 enables long hours of continuous music listening with the PlayXChange function. PlayXChange allows you to change discs while playback continues. for uninterrupted music enjoyment while swapping your CDs. Change four CDs while the fifth keeps playing or use the CD-C603 fully-opening disc tray for changing 5 discs at the same time.

First introduced in the 80s and fading from popularity by the late 90s and early 2000s, we haven’t heard of the new launch of a CD changer for a long time, though new single disc CD players are being released by many HiFi brands.

PUR DIRECT MODE

The CD-C603 features Pur Direct mode. This mode is a standard feature of Yamaha amplifiers and receivers. At the touch of a button or via the remote control, Pur Direct mode mutes the digital audio output and turns off the display. Yamaha says that this function allows you to “enjoy exceptional listening quality and avoid sound interference’.

USB PORT

The CD-C603 lets you enjoy music with dynamic, detailed sound. Further improvements have been made to the design, placing even greater emphasis on sound quality, plus the CD-C603 ensures high-quality playback of all music files (MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV, FLAC) stored on memory sticks via a front-accessible USB port.
