YG Acoustics Debuts Reference 3 loudspeakers at High End Munich.

YG Acoustics of Colorado, USA has announced Reference 3, the third version of their Reference range.

The Reference 3 models include a wide range of new technologies and design innovations based on ‘novel theoretical models, detailed multi-domain simulations and thousands of hours of listening’.

YG Acoustics Reference 3 feature many upgrades and improvements over the previous generation

NEW ENGINEERING TEAM

This release marks the first major revision by the new engineering team at YG Acoustics, and is the most comprehensive set of improvements yet for the US-based manufacturer.

Reference 3 benefits from YG’s measurement and modeling capabilities, using cloud computing to run simultaneous multi-domain simulations which look beyond just the loudspeaker to the entire audio system.

LATTICE TWEETER

An entirely new, Lattice tweeter uses a novel airframe in an aerospace alloy, machined by YG Acoustics. This builds on the performance of YG’s original BilletDome.

Third-generation crossovers, optimized tweeter waveguides, custom YG metal foil capacitors and strategic constrained layer damping in cabinets are all new features for the new Reference generation.

Reference 3 models will begin shipping to dealers and distributors later this year.

YG ACOUSTICS AT HIGH END MUNICH 2023

To showcase their latest innovations, YG Acoustics will be demonstrating the Reference 3 models at High End Munich.

YG will be on the Atrium 4.2 floor, in room E218. Several models in the Reference 3 series will be rotated into the demonstration system throughout the show, as well as models from YG’s new Peaks line.

High End Munich takes place on the 18^th to 21^st of May 2023 at the MOC in Munich, Germany.
