BLACK RHODIUM CHORALE S RCA STEREO INTERCONNECT CABLE RELEASED
British brand Black Rhodium launch new high-end interconnect cable.
The Black Rhodium Chorale S RCA stereo interconnect cable has been developed, says the manufacturer, with great care to “minimise each and every type of distortion that can impair your listening experience”.
Following on from the recent news of the Black Rhodium Cantata S RCA Interconnect, which is priced at £5000 a metre, the Chorale S RCA also uses wire which is subject to a Deep Cryogenic Treatment, to, says Black Rhodium, “improve the molecular structure and enhance sound quality”.
BLACK RHODIUM CHORALE S RCA
The Black Rhodium Chorale S RCA is screened against both radio frequency interference and external magnetic fields. It is fully damped against micro-vibrations within the cable along its full length. The brand says that the external braid is also “highly effective at reducing the transmission of external vibration to the cable”.
Chorale S RCA is fitted with Graham Nalty Straight Line Contact GN4 RCA plugs. The GN4 plugs are plated in rhodium. Black Rhodium claims that: “in listening tests, rhodium-plated connectors give a cleaner sound than gold that can add excitement to the presentation of the music”.
CABLE LENGTH
Due to the components that are used, Chorale S RCA is a stiff cable and for this reason, it is not supplied in less than 1-metre lengths. The weight of a single 1m cable is around 625 grams. The cable is manufactured in Derby, UK.
