HIGH END MUNICH 2022 SHOW REPORT BIRD’S EYE VIEW PART 3

Linette snoofles more HiFi out in the rooms of 4.1 at the MOC with Stenheim and Dartzeel, Bowers & Wilkins and Classé, Piega and T + A, Fyne Audio, Goebel and TLA, Peak and  Lansche.

Back into the rooms on floor 4.1, Stenheim and Dartzeel were exhibiting together, and eye catching system that sounded good too. The turntable was a Dohmann Helix One mk.2 with the rest of the system darTZeel LHC-208 DAC/Streamer/integrated, darTZeel NHB-18NS preamplifier, darTZeel NHB-468 monoblocks, Stenheim Ultime Reference 2 loudspeakers and acoustic treatment by Audys Acoustic Panels.

Dartzeel electronics always make me think of Iron Man….

Bowers & Wilkins with Classé

Piega with T+A, a lovely room this, nicely staged with the ultra-modern Piega Coax Gen 2 speakers sitting nicely with the mid-century inspired furnishings.

Fyne Audio went retro, but not old fashioned, with the new Vintage range. The public had demanded the classic Scottish cabinets but the subtle rounding of edges and quality of materials gave a lighter more contemporary feel to the new speakers. The Fyne Vintage 12 were playing when I was in the room. Great to see team Fyne reaping the rewards of their very hard work over the last few years.

Goebel and True Life Audio partnered together with the Goebel Divin Marquis and Divin Sovereign Subs running with amplification from greek brand True Life Audio.
